About
Faisal Alahmad (b. 1986; Alkhobar, Saudi Arabia) is a contemporary sculptor who works in various mediums including bronze, plaster, ceramic, and stone. Whether from life or model photos, he captures the essence of humanity by avoiding idealized beauty in favor of a more unfiltered approach. His portraits and figures feature oft neglected emotional states that carry in them a sense of jaded determination. He graduated from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco with a B. F. A. in sculpture and his work has been exhibited in California, Washington, Minnesota, as well as Alkhobar. Faisal has been featured in Makkah Newspaper, Arab News, and interviewed on the Islamic Illumination podcast.
